The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) offers grant applicants or people exploring ways to enhance research outputs a number of free learning materials related to their programs and initiatives.
The federal government’s Sex- and Gender-Based Analysis Plus (SGBA Plus) Action Plan ensures that health research in Canada leads to sound science and reliable evidence that effectively addresses biological (sex) and sociocultural (gender and other identity factors) differences between diverse groups of people. CIHR has developed a series of resources to support the plan and to help researchers and reviewers better account for sex and gender in health research.
