- Sexual minority women- information on breast cancer and breast reconstruction. Studies from 2007 show that sexual minority women more often forgo reconstruction and have more positive and prideful expeinces with their post-cancer body image than heterosexual women. This can include less thought avoidance, lower levels of sexual concern, less concern about body appearance, and lower disruption in sexual activity.
