New! Healthcare professional education from QC & LLSC.

We have updated and refreshed our educational collaboration with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada for healthcare professionals caring for 2SLGBTQI+ people.

It’s been about three years since we launched these modules and we have received a lot of positive feedback from the hundreds of healthcare professionals who have taken this training. But practice moves on, so we have added new information, updated key terminology and enriched the experience with more stories from people with lived experience.

Part 1 covers background, history, terminology and healthcare inequalities. Part 2 covers disparities in cancer care, inclusive language, welcoming spaces and clinical scenarios with patient stories. Each online module is about 40 minutes long and delivered by Kim and Amanda from QC .
