We recently completed our CIHR funded evaluation project. We had over 100 responses to our online survey and conducted interviews with patients, healthcare professionals and community cancer organisations. We also carried out a web and social media analysis.
Recommendations included:
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to make healthcare spaces more inclusive
- Developing a community of practice
- Improving peer support options
- Continuing to elevate queer and trans voices from the cancer community.
- Build operational capacity and diversity.
