Information

Queering Cancer (QC) uses the term sexual and gender diverse (SGD) to include all identities usually captured under various acronyms because language and understandings are always evolving. We use “trans” to include all whose gender identity is different from sex assigned at birth (including genderqueer, non-binary, agender and all non-cis identities).

Resources are from third party sites and, while we have reviewed them for relevance, we do not endorse them. Some resources may contain outdated or medicalized language or acronyms. Please report issues to webadmin@queeringcancer.ca. If you have a new resource to share, you can submit it on our Contact page.

For general cancer information the Canadian Cancer Society’s Cancer Information Service is a national, toll-free helpline available to everyone.
